Webinar repurposing template: a seven-day content plan
Give a recorded session a useful second life. Map an authorized transcript to audience questions and evidence, then prepare one anchor article, three distinct short posts, one follow-up email and an FAQ. This kit defines the handoff before anyone starts writing.
Build the source map before the calendar
01 / Confirm usable material
Start with a transcript or notes you have permission to reuse. Keep paragraph IDs and distinguish speaker opinions from verifiable facts. Prepare text first if you only have a recording.
02 / Find three questions
Group passages around three questions the audience needs answered. Attach a source passage to each. If evidence is missing, record the gap instead of padding the schedule.
03 / Choose the anchor article
Use the most complete argument for an owned article. Answer one question in the introduction, show the method and evidence, and end with one useful next action.
04 / Rewrite for each channel
A short post explains one judgment or step. An email gives a reason to revisit the session. An FAQ answers an objection directly. Six copies of the same summary are not six useful assets.
05 / Review each claim
Check numbers, quotes, permission and links. Keep an owner and approval status beside each draft. Unapproved items stay out of the publishing queue.
06 / Review after seven days
Record relevant visits, replay views and qualified enquiries separately by channel. Engagement is a supporting signal. Use actual next actions to choose the topic to extend.

Deliver: one anchor article, three posts with distinct angles, one follow-up email, one FAQ, and a seven-day publishing and review plan.
For each item include: audience question, headline, draft, source paragraph, call to action, owner, proposed date and approval status.
First map claims to evidence, then write. Remove spoken repetition without changing meaning. Trace every number and quote to the transcript. Mark missing facts as unresolved; do not invent customer results.
Deliver editable text and a schedule. Video items are scripts only, with no video generation or publishing. Ask for missing material; do not retrieve private recordings.
Acceptance: six items with distinct purposes, traceable claims, channel-appropriate writing, one consistent destination, and a separate unresolved-questions list.A seven-day example: preparing B2B competitor research
This is a fictional teaching schedule, not a real webinar, customer case or performance result. Assume an authorized transcript explains comparison criteria in P03, an evidence ledger in P08 and missing information in P12.
| When | Asset and distinct purpose | Source and review |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Anchor article: four things to normalize before comparing competitors. Give readers the complete method. | P03 + P08; verify criteria and examples; content owner approves. |
| Day 2 | Post 1: why two quoted prices may not be comparable. Explain the billing basis. | P03; add no prices absent from the transcript; editor approves. |
| Day 3 | Post 2: the fields in a traceable evidence row. Offer an actionable checklist. | P08; link to the approved article; research owner approves. |
| Day 4 | Follow-up email: revisit the evidence walkthrough and take the worksheet. Serve opted-in recipients. | P08; verify replay link and recipient permission; channel owner approves. |
| Day 5 | Post 3: how to write up a feature you could not verify. Address a common mistake. | P12; absence of evidence is not evidence of absence; researcher approves. |
| Day 6 | FAQ: outdated claims, conflicting sources and comparison scope. Help readers start their own work. | P03 / P08 / P12; mark unanswered questions; content owner approves. |
| Day 7 | Review: compare visits and qualified next actions, then choose the next topic. | Use actual records only. Missing data stays unknown; no invented result figures. |
Six checks before the handoff
- Each item answers a distinct audience question.
- Every fact, number and quote has a source location.
- Speaker opinions have not become industry consensus.
- The article, posts and email fit their intended channels.
- The destination works and reuse and recipient permissions are confirmed.
- Unresolved questions, owners and approval status travel with the drafts.
Common questions
Can I start with only a recording?
Prepare an authorized transcript first. This kit does not promise transcription, video editing, image generation or automatic publishing. The task produces drafts and a schedule.
Do I need all six assets?
No. Six is an editable scope, not a quota. If the transcript supports only two useful angles, reduce the output instead of publishing near-identical summaries.
Can I use this without Mika?
Yes. Copy the brief for a teammate or use the open Skill. The template requires no signup and does not create a task automatically.
