REAL MIKA RUN · PUBLIC PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION

Brevo vs Mailchimp vs Kit for a small B2B marketing team.

A source-backed competitor research report example, from the task brief to editable delivery. Research date: 10 September 2026.

This is a Mika product demonstration using public information. It is not a customer case, a hands-on product test or a comprehensive purchasing recommendation.

The task Mika received

Research Brevo, Mailchimp and Kit for a hypothetical small B2B marketing team choosing an email marketing tool. Read official public product, pricing and help pages. Compare audience, automation, segmentation, forms, reporting, integrations and pricing basis. Deliver an editable report with sources, dates and unresolved questions.

Working assumptions: 2–5 marketers, a list in the low thousands, lead capture, basic lifecycle automation and CRM connectivity. These assumptions help frame the comparison; they are not verified customer requirements.

What this means for the shortlist

These are editorial inferences to guide evaluation: investigate Brevo for multi-channel requirements, Mailchimp when its app directory matches the existing stack, and Kit for newsletter-led audience growth. Actual fit depends on integrations, permissions and workflow limits. This research does not establish a universal winner.

What remains unknown

  1. Comparable costs at the same contact count, send volume, currency and billing term.
  2. The exact plan needed for the team’s required automations, seats, forms and reporting.
  3. Whether the required CRM integrations are native, paid add-ons or third-party connections.

Exact price amounts are intentionally withheld. Pricing pages can vary by selected plan, region and billing term; the retrieved pages did not establish a common comparison basis.

Execution and editorial review

Mika loaded the research Skill, read public sources, reported progress and delivered a report. The task then received one revision request to remove unsupported rankings and ambiguous numeric plan claims. An automated editorial source review shortened the narrative and corrected source mapping before publication. No customer data, vendor contact or trial accounts were used.

The files use Mika’s Word and Excel export formats. Source URLs and access dates are retained; raw vendor page text is omitted from the public downloads. The replay uses actual logged milestones with shortened descriptions. This run is a product demonstration and is excluded from real-user conversion metrics.
